Trans People Exist, and That’s Not Up for Debate

I support Trans Rights
Today is International Transgender Day of Visibility, but let’s be real—visibility isn’t always safe. Visibility means risk. It means being seen in a world that too often wants you erased. And yet, trans people continue to exist, to thrive, to fight, to love, and to live authentically despite the constant backlash. That’s not just courage. That’s a revolution.

We are living in a time when politicians and bigots treat trans lives like a debate topic, when headlines question whether trans people deserve the same basic human rights as everyone else. Newsflash: They do. Trans people don’t need permission to exist. They don’t need approval. They don’t need to justify their identity to anyone, least of all to those who have no understanding of their experience.

Visibility is not enough. It never was. Being seen is not the same as being safe, and representation in media or on corporate Pride merch doesn’t mean much if trans people are still being banned from healthcare, fired from jobs, attacked on the street, and demonized for simply being who they are.

So today, if you say you support trans people, back it up with action. Donate to trans-led organizations. Call out transphobia when you see it. Protect trans kids. Vote against politicians who push anti-trans legislation. Support trans artists, writers, and creators—not just today, but every damn day.

And to every trans and nonbinary person out there: You are real. You are worthy. You are not alone. Your identity is not a question mark—it’s a fact. And no law, no insult, no act of hate can change that.

In Solidarity, Always

Becoming the Monster: Five Years of Writing Monsters in the Closet

Five years. Five years of ink and blood, of rage and tenderness, of peeling back my own skin to see what lurked beneath. Five years of becoming the monster they told me I was.

Monsters in the Closet isn’t just a poetry collection—it’s a confession, a love letter, a battle cry. It’s what happens when you spend a lifetime being told your desire is unnatural, your love is wrong, your very existence something to be whispered about behind closed doors. So I cracked those doors open and let the monsters inside.

This book was born in the midnight hours, scrawled in notebooks stained with whiskey and longing. It grew in the shadow of queer history, where men like me were burned, buried, and forgotten. It took shape in the pulse of underground clubs, in the pages of forbidden love stories, in the bite of every sermon that tried to tell me I was broken.

But I am not broken. Neither are you.

These poems are full of vampires and wolves, ghosts and gods, all of them craving touch, fighting for love, refusing to be erased. They are me. They are you. They are every queer soul who has ever been told to dim their own light.

Five years of writing this book taught me one thing: If they call us monsters, we might as well be legendary.

The Thrill of Crafting a Love That Defies Death - Writing Phantom Bond

Phantom Bond by Ryder Tombs
I’ve always believed that the best stories aren’t just written—they unfold. They take on a life of their own, twisting in ways you never expected, forcing you to follow the characters down paths you never planned. That’s exactly what happened with Phantom Bond. What started as a paranormal mystery about a necromancer and the ghost he accidentally binds himself to became something much deeper, much more intimate—a story about love that defies the laws of both magic and mortality.

I knew from the start that Grayson and Ash would be drawn to each other, but what I didn’t expect was how organic their connection would feel as I wrote. Their relationship wasn’t about fate forcing them together—it was about two men thrown into a situation neither of them wanted, learning to trust each other, fight for each other, and eventually, choose each other. That’s what makes their romance so compelling to me. It’s not just about attraction; it’s about the way love can sneak up on you when you least expect it, the way it can reshape your entire world before you even realize what’s happening.

And let’s be real—writing the tension between them was delicious.

Grayson is guarded, practical, and constantly toeing the line between control and chaos, while Ash is reckless, sarcastic, and refuses to be anyone’s unfinished business. Their banter? An absolute dream to write. Every scene between them carried this undercurrent of frustration, longing, and unspoken desire—and I had so much fun pushing them to the edge of something more before letting them pull away, only to crash back together even harder.

But Phantom Bond isn’t just about two men finding each other. It’s about identity, about what makes us who we are. Ash spends most of the story trying to piece together who he used to be, but in the end, what matters isn’t his past—it’s the person he’s become. That hit me harder than I expected while writing. As queer people, we don’t always get the luxury of a simple past, and sometimes, choosing who we are now is the most powerful thing we can do.

Writing this book was an emotional, exhilarating ride, and I can honestly say I fell in love right alongside these characters. Their story is full of magic, danger, and ghosts that refuse to stay buried, but at its heart, it’s about two men finding something real in a world built on illusions.

And honestly? I wouldn’t have it any other way.

Would love to hear what moments hit you hardest—drop a comment and let’s talk Phantom Bond!

When Lust Meets Power Plays – Writing Hostile Takeover

There’s something electric about writing two men who would rather tear each other down than admit they want to fall into each other — fists clenched, eyes locked, tension so sharp it leaves marks.

That’s exactly where Hostile Takeover was born: on the edge where rivalry meets longing, where boardroom ambition clashes with feelings neither Owen nor Luke are ready to face.

What started as the idea for a hot, fast-paced office fling quickly became something more — and more dangerous. Hostile Takeover turned into a slow-burn MM romance about ambition, vulnerability, and the terrifying beauty of letting someone see you, even when you’re not ready.

Owen Cross is controlled, driven, impossible to read. Luke Ramirez is charm and heat and wild instinct. Together, they’re a storm waiting to break — but neither of them expects what happens when competition gives way to connection.

Writing their story meant letting things simmer. The glances had to linger. The touches had to spark. And when the walls finally cracked? It wasn’t just about heat — it was about risk. About choosing someone over the win. About letting go of the mask.

Yes, there’s banter. There’s office tension. There’s a kiss that changes everything and moments behind closed doors where everything else falls away. But at its core, Hostile Takeover is about two men learning how to want — and maybe even love — without losing themselves.

If you like slow burns that smolder, rivalries that cut deep, and stories where the heart takes its time catching up to the heat, this one’s for you.

Because love might be the battlefield.

But this time, nobody has to lose.
